1. What PriorMark Does
PriorMark is an IP protection platform that allows you to establish a permanent, tamper-proof record of your intellectual property and the exact date and time you submitted it. Your submission's unique fingerprint is written to a public ledger that cannot be altered, deleted, or backdated by anyone — including us. This record may be used as evidence of prior conception but does not constitute a patent, trademark, copyright, or any other formal intellectual property right.
2. Permanence of Submissions
When you submit your IP, the record is permanently and irrevocably created. The fingerprint of your submission, its supporting documents, and the exact timestamp are written to a public ledger and cannot be edited, removed, or changed in any way. Do not submit IP you do not own or have the right to record.
3. Submission Fee
A one-time, non-refundable submission fee of $500.00 is charged at the time you submit your IP. This fee covers the permanent recording of your submission on a public ledger and the issuance of a digital Certificate of Priority. This fee is charged regardless of whether you choose to add storage.
4. Storage Subscription (Optional)
If you want your submission files stored in encrypted cloud storage, a storage subscription is required in addition to the one-time submission fee.
Base plan: $10.00 / month — includes up to 6 files
Additional files: $2.00 / month per file beyond 6
If you choose Proof of Priority (no storage), no ongoing fees apply. Your files are not stored online — keep your original files locally as your evidence.
5. Cancellation and Grace Period
You may cancel your storage subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:
· Your stored files remain accessible for a 30-day grace period.
· After 30 days, your files are removed from cloud storage. No back-pay is required.
· Your submission record on the public ledger is never affected — it is permanent.
To restore cloud access after cancellation, simply start a new subscription at the then-current rate and re-upload your files.
6. Proof of Priority — No Storage
If you choose Proof of Priority, your submission is permanently timestamped on the public ledger but no files are stored online. You retain full proof of priority as long as you keep your original files. You can verify your submission independently at any time using the public ledger — no PriorMark account required.
7. No Guarantee of Uniqueness
PriorMark does not verify that your idea is novel, original, or free of prior claims. We only record the timestamp at which you submitted it. It is your responsibility to ensure you have the right to claim an idea and that your submission does not infringe on others' rights.
8. Refunds
Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. The one-time submission fee is non-refundable once the submission has been recorded on the public ledger.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
