1. What PriorMark Does
PriorMark is an intellectual property protection platform that allows you to establish a permanent, tamper-proof forensic timestamp for your content — creative work, inventions, trade secrets, or any other intellectual property — and the exact date and time you submitted it. Your submission's unique cryptographic fingerprint is written to the Hedera public ledger and cannot be altered, deleted, or backdated by anyone, including us. This record constitutes evidence of prior possession but does not constitute a patent, trademark, copyright registration, or any other formal intellectual property right.
2. Permanence of Submissions
When you submit your content, the record is permanently and irrevocably created. The cryptographic fingerprint, submission metadata, and exact timestamp are written to a public distributed ledger and cannot be edited, removed, or changed in any way. Do not submit content you do not own or have the legal right to record.
3. Submission Fees
PriorMark offers two tiers, each with a one-time, non-refundable submission fee charged at the time of submission: Proof-Only — $150 — your content is fingerprinted locally in your browser and never uploaded. A forensic timestamp and cryptographic fingerprint are recorded permanently on the public ledger. No files are stored online. Proof + Storage — $250 — everything in Proof-Only, plus your files are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before upload and stored in secure cloud storage. The one-time fee includes the first month of storage. Both fees are non-refundable once the submission has been recorded on the public ledger.
4. Storage Subscription (Optional)
If you choose Proof + Storage, an ongoing storage subscription applies after the first month at $5 per file per month. There is no base plan or included file allowance — billing is based solely on the number of files stored. If you choose Proof-Only, no ongoing fees apply. Your files are not stored online. Keep your original files locally — they are your evidence.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel your storage subscription at any time. Upon cancellation: · Your stored files remain accessible for a 30-day grace period. · After 30 days, your files are permanently removed from cloud storage. · Your submission record on the public ledger is never affected — it is permanent. To restore encrypted file storage after cancellation, a new submission is required. Your original ledger record remains valid and unaffected regardless of storage status.
6. Proof-Only — No Storage
If you choose Proof-Only, your submission is permanently timestamped on the public ledger but no files are stored online. You retain full proof of prior possession as long as you keep your original files. You can verify your submission independently at any time using the public ledger — no PriorMark account required.
7. No Guarantee of Uniqueness
PriorMark does not verify that your content is novel, original, or free of prior claims. We only record the timestamp at which you submitted it. It is your responsibility to ensure you have the right to record your submission and that doing so does not infringe on the rights of others.
8. Not Legal Advice
Nothing on this platform or in these terms constitutes legal advice. A PriorMark forensic timestamp is a form of evidence — how it applies to your specific situation, dispute, or legal proceeding is a question for a licensed attorney. PriorMark is not a law firm and does not provide legal services.
9. Refunds
Storage subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. The one-time submission fee is non-refundable once the submission has been recorded on the public ledger.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to your registered address. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
